Amplifiers Buying Tips
Amplifiers are the heart of the system. Make sure you have enough channels of amplifier to optimize your system. Well executed simple system will more often than not out perform a complicated system.

Match amplifier power outputs to the speakers and amplifiers subwoofer power ratings. It is better to have more power than less. Distorion will blow speakers much faster than easier than too much power.

Big amplfiiers for subwoofers. Some subwoofer have huge power handling (above 1000 watts). In this case, amplifiers above 1000 watts draw tremendous power from your electrical system. These amplifiers are designed for SPL (Sound Pressure Level) competitions and are not recommend unless you have an upgraded electrical system.

Make sure the subwoofer/enclosure combination will fit in your vehcile. You can take the recommended enclosure volume and use the audiogearreviews box calculator to see how big the box will be.
